Terms of use

Last updated 18 October 2026

By using Recipe Cost Calculator (“the service”) you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

The service

Recipe Cost Calculator helps you work out the cost of recipes from ingredient prices you enter. It is provided free of charge. We may change, add or remove features, and we may stop offering the service; if we do, we will try to give notice so you can export your data.

Your account

You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for what happens under it. Keep your Google account secure, and sign out on shared devices.

Your content

Your recipes, prices, notes and photos remain yours. You give us permission to store and display them to you so the service can work. Please don't upload anything you don't have the right to use, or anything unlawful.

Acceptable use

Don't try to access other people's data, disrupt or overload the service, or use it to break the law.

Figures are estimates

The service calculates costs from the prices, quantities and units you enter. Results are only as accurate as that information, and they are not financial, tax or legal advice. Check important figures before relying on them for pricing or business decisions.

Keep your own backup

We take care to keep your data safe, but we can't promise it will never be lost. Use Settings → Export backup now and then to keep a copy of your own.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, arising from your use of the service.

Ending your use

You can stop using the service at any time and ask for your account to be deleted by writing to support@recipecostcalculator.online . We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. The new version will be posted here with a new date, and using the service after that means you accept it.
